Kim Seokjin of BTS attended the 2024 Milan Fashion Week on September 20, 2024. As the global ambassador for Gucci, the Grammy-nominated musician was seen seated in between Francois-Henri Pinault—the CEO and chairman of the Kering Group that owns Gucci—and Dakota Johnsson.

Notably, Kering Group also owns other luxury brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Creed, and Alexander McQueen. Meanwhile, fans took pride in seeing the BTS idol seated next to the A-listed guests, including Anna Wintour. For the unversed, Anna Wintour is the editor-in-chief of American Vogue and the chief content officer of Condé Nast.

One fan wrote on X:

"I noticed that! Having him sit next to Pinault speaks volumes!"

The BTS ARMY hailed the K-pop sensation as a "prince" and were impressed by the royal treatment he received at the Milan Fashion Week.

"They know Jin is to be treated like the treasure his name means!" a fan wrote.
"It is indeed a remarkable moment to witness Prince Jin alongside the CEO of Kering at Milan Fashion Week. Such a pairing not only highlights his influence but also signifies the intersection of culture and luxury fashion," another fan said.
"One thing is BTS and members will always get the royal treatment wherever they go bcz they deserve it and they know it too who is the main event," one other fan added.

Some fans hilariously mentioned that Francois-Henri Pinault is the husband of Hollywood star Salma Hayek and how they felt excited to see him next to the BTS idol.

"BRO HE’S SALMA HAYEK’S HUSBAND… OMG MY JIN MEXICAN," a fan hilariously mentioned.
"Same energy as yoongi being seated with Samsung’s CEOs," another fan stated.
"Seokjin was sitting in the most prized spot of the show, along with Anna Wintour, in between Dakota Johnson and the CEO of Kering," one other fan added.

More about BTS' eldest member, Kim Seokjin

The 31-year-old member of the K-pop group BTS served his mandatory enlistment period in the Republic of Korea Army from December 13, 2022, to June 12, 2024. After that, he was announced as the global ambassador for two major luxury brands—FRED and Gucci.

Apart from his talents and global popularity, the musician is renowned for his philanthropic activities. In 2018, to commemorate his birthday in December, the Tonight singer-songwriter sent food, blankets, and dishes to the Korean Animal Welfare Association.

In addition, he donated 321 kg of food to Korea Animal Rights Advocates (KARA), a different non-profit in Korea that promotes animal care. His group, BTS, also raised over $1.4 million in funds through the "Love Myself" campaign in conjunction with UNICEF to end violence against children, as recently as November 2018.

The Moon singer has been a monthly donor to UNICEF Korea since May 2018; However, for several years, his contributions have remained anonymous as per his request. After he was inducted into the UNICEF Honors Club in May 2019 for contributing more than KRW 100 million (about $84,000), the news was ultimately made public.

In other news, BTS' Jin was featured on the special edition cover issue of Vogue Korea's October issue for FRED.
