Stray Kids' Hyunjin recently talked about his unique style featured in the music video, Chk Chk Boom. On September 23, 2024, Esquire Korea released the second part of the K-pop star's interview via its official website. The latest interview came after the release of several cover photos and videos of Hyunjin.
The rapper said that he designed his own attire for the music video. He mentioned that he conceptualized a red cardigan and leather pants on his iPad and sent it to his costume designer.
“So I drew a picture on my iPad and sent it to the person in charge. I pasted my picture, and on top of it, I expressed a red cardigan, a little leather pants, a sluggy feeling, unique red sunglasses, and something like that. Fortunately, the stylists understood it well and completed it, and the timing was right, so it was done,” Hyunjin stated.
Fans of Stray Kids' Hyunjin were impressed with his style sense and flooded the internet with compliments. Echoing this sentiment, one X user wrote:

During the Esquire interview, Stray Kids' Hyunjin commented on his live broadcasts, talkative behavior, and paintings. He said that he created numerous conceptual paintings and conveyed his admiration for abstract art. He also opened up about his desire to "focus more" on them.
As the idol shared several of his paintings on his own Instagram account, he mentioned:
“I've been studying conceptual painting, but I want to draw a lot of abstract paintings after studying more someday.”
When Hyunjin was inquired about why he disabled the comment section on his online paintings, he said that he did not wish for others to critique his artwork. Despite the favorable opinions expressed by many on his work, Hyunjin did not wish to influence his color choice based on other people's views.
Moreover, Stray Kids' Hyunjin said he loves to talk. He further shared that he often talks to and calls his group members. The idol added that since it is difficult to call them late at night, so he opts for live broadcasts to interact with his fans.
