J-hope on the Street (ft. J.Cole) is now a historical landmark

A place is labeled as a historical landmark on Google Maps when it indicates that the location has been acknowledged for its importance in the history of a community, region, or even on a global scale. In the case of the street featured in On the Street, the recent landmark status reflects the cultural significance the location has gained due to its association with BTS and J-hope’s widely celebrated work.

Fans have noted that the street currently has 46 Google reviews at the time of writing and are encouraging fellow fans to contribute more reviews to the Google page. Released on March 3, 2023, J-hope On the Street by the BTS star is a poignant collaboration with American rapper J. Cole. The track reflects J-hope’s journey, his connection to his roots, and the deep influence of hip-hop on his career.

The lyrics convey themes of hope, gratitude, and inspiration, with him emphasizing his commitment to staying grounded despite his global fame. The phrase "on the street" symbolizes where his journey began and where he continues to draw inspiration.

The music video, featuring J-hope dancing through various urban settings, further emphasizes the song's connection to his roots and love for street culture. The collaboration with J. Cole was particularly significant, as he has previously mentioned J. Cole as one of his biggest musical influences.
