For the unversed, on September 29, the GOT7 rapper replied to a fan tweet on X and wrote,
"people around me is the reason I'm dying."
Then on September 30, 2024, the GOT7 rapper posted an Instagram story where he wrote,
"I will be gone for good 2025."
This sent an alarm across the fandom and the internet community as they expressed concern for his mental health. This post sparked further conversations over the strains of his demanding schedule and the potential effects on his mental well-being.
Then on October 1, at midnight, he posted Justin Bieber's song, Changes, where the lyrics talk about how he has been smiling through pain.
As a result, several K-pop fandoms seemingly united on social media and left encouraging messages on BamBam posts on X and Instagram. They also praised Jessi for leaving a comment underneath his Instagram post, where she wrote,
"We love you BamBam."
One fan wrote on X, praising Jessi,
"Such a queen… I wish she also contacted him somehow."
Others highlighted that, as someone older than the GOT7 rapper, Jessi must be aware of the industry's environment. They expressed their gratitude towards the Cold Blooded rapper for looking after him.

On October 1, 2024, the GOT7 rapper reportedly arrived at the Bangkok airport, where he was received by his brother.
Earlier, in July 2024, the rapper shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story where he expressed his wish to never wake up again. He wrote,
"I just want to sleep and don’t wake up so I can finally rest."
On September 23, he announced via social media that he would take a long vacation for his mental health. Many of the GOT7 rapper's admirers believed that his decision to take a vacation was essential amidst his concerning posts. However, his fans were immediately alarmed when, on September 29, he posted another unsettling Instagram story in which he said that he would be "gone for good."
