On September 8, 2024, BTS' Taehyung, currently serving in the military, made a brief appearance on Weverse, much to the delight of his fans. Although he enlisted in December 2023, the idol took some time to interact with fans, which left many emotional.
During the interaction, the BTS member spoke about his solo album Layover reaching its first anniversary. When one fan congratulated him on the album's milestone, the Singularity singer wrote:
"hm i was running in front of the military camp/unit and i saw the pictures hung up and i blushed from seeing it."
For those who don't know, the fans had placed these banners outside the military base where he is enlisted to mark the special occasion.
V also shared a photo with his beloved Pomeranian, Yeontan, on the occasion of its seventh birthday, responding to fans with warm messages. When asked by another fan about his current life in the military, V candidly shared that he was feeling tired but came to Weverse to recharge, promising to return later.
Fans were deeply touched by Taehyung's brief interaction and quickly took to social media to share their emotions. One user on X, @winnttaebear, wrote,

BTS' Taehyung supports RM's latest collab with Megan Thee Stallion on Weverse
During his interaction with fans, V took a moment to praise the recent release of NEVA PLAY, a collaboration between BTS' leader RM and American rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Released on September 6, 2024, NEVA PLAY marks the second joint effort between the two artists, following the remix of BTS' hit track Butter.
Since RM is also serving in the military, the music video features an animated version of him. Fans and listeners have praised the unique rap styles of both artists in the song. V, while on Weverse, expressed his admiration for the track, saying it was so impressive he couldn’t resist commenting. He wrote:
"And neva play is insaneee. i couldn't not come [here] bbai [bye]."
Meanwhile, Taehyung, who chose to enlist in the Special Duty Team (SDT) during his military service, was recently seen in action at the 2024 Veterans Culture Festival. Dressed in his SDT military uniform, the sight of the BTS star on duty sent his fans into a frenzy, with many expressing their excitement and pride on social media.
The idol is reported to be discharged from the military in June 2025.
