On October 1, Billboard Korea named BTS' Jimin as a key figure in building a K-pop dance legacy, as per their list of dance member lineage by generation. The Billboard Korea’s latest social media post called Jimin a dance icon.
BTS' Jimin’s fans went gaga over the latest recognition of the K-pop idol. Therefore, fans swamped the internet with their praises for him. Expressing this sentiment, one user on X remarked:
“kpop dance legacy exactly talent will always win. congratulations jimin”
Many other mixed responses from Jimin’s admirers were recorded online. Although several congratulated the star, others remarked that the singer's hard work yielded results.
“Hard work betrays none.We are so proud of you Jimin. You did make your own way. Who gonna tell him”, an admirer wrote.
“ohh Jimin our brightest star as he should, the best dancer and performer”, stated a fan.

Hollywood Reporter has chosen BTS' Jimin as a Music Platinum Player 2024
For his solo work in 2024, Jimin was named a Music Platinum Player by the esteemed American publication, The Hollywood Reporter. The BTS member's second solo album MUSE was released in July 2024.
The publication revealed the names of 25 musicians whose work has had significant cultural influence. Other notable celebrities were Stray Kids, EMINEM, SZA, Chappell Roan, Beyoncé, Post Malone, Taylor Swift, and Sabrina Carpenter, alongside Jimin.
BTS' Jimin’s 2024 solo album MUSE featured a total of seven tracks: Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), Slow Dance, Be Mine, and Closer Than This, and WHO.
Currently, BTS' Jimin is fulfilling his compulsory military service, with his release expected in June 2025. Currently, only Kim Seokjin, referred to as Jin, has finished his military service obligations.
Besides, Jimin recently appeared in the Disney+ travel vlog series, Are You Sure?!. The series premiered on August 8, and the last episode was released on September 19. Jimin traveled to Sapporo (Japan), Connecticut and New York (USA), and Jeju (South Korea) with his bandmate Jungkook.
