Felix of Stray Kids has been announced as the face of a new campaign with UNICEF and Marie Claire Korea. On December 22, 2024, Marie Claire Korea revealed the collaboration through Instagram, highlighting his role as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and his contributions to the campaign.

What stood out most in this project was the idol's use of sign language during the shoot. It was later revealed that he had been learning sign language to communicate with people who are specially-abled, showcasing his inclusivity.

Fans were particularly moved by the incorporation of sign language into an official magazine campaign, calling it an unexpected yet heartwarming gesture.

The Stray Kids star's actions have garnered admiration, with fans expressing pride in his compassion and his efforts to use his platform for meaningful causes. They praised his commitment to spreading kindness and awareness.

Felix's incorporation of sign language comes to light once again

Felix’s participation in UNICEF and Marie Claire Korea’s new campaign has stirred excitement among fans. The campaign teased as part of the January 2025 edition of Marie Claire, does not feature him alone.

Joining him are prominent figures like popular Korean gamer Faker, acclaimed actress Kim Hye-soo, and Olympic figure skating champion Kim Yuna. A teaser video showcasing all four ambassadors was recently released, with each using sign language in their respective segments.

For Felix, the incorporation of sign language holds special significance. He reportedly began learning sign language to communicate with the members of Big Ocean, the first deaf K-pop group, while preparing to record a TikTok video with them. This thoughtful effort deeply touched fans. He was also spotted using sign language during a recent Stray Kids concert.

Photos and more detailed videos of the campaign featuring Felix are expected to be released soon, adding to the anticipation. Fans believe this collaboration is a good blend of fashion and goodwill, highlighting his compassionate nature and his previous volunteer efforts with UNICEF.
