Jin shared his plans to take a short break before starting a new chapter in 2025. This revelation has sparked excitement among fans as they anticipate BTS’ comeback. On December 13, Dispatched reported on Jin's interview with D'icon Magazine for its January 2025 issue, where he spoke about his happiness regarding his first solo album, Happy.

Furthermore, Jin stated that his happiness lies in the happiness of his fans, aka ARMYs, and he would do his utmost to keep them content. He further added that he is set to take a short break from work before he begins preparing for the next chapter.

The idol said:

“I think I'll take a little break and prepare for the next thing. Of course, I plan to continue to make time to meet ARMYs while taking a break. I think ARMY comes first.”

While Jin and J-Hope were discharged this year, other BTS members, including RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, are expected to complete their military duties in 2025. Although it is not confirmed whether the septet will make a comeback before 2026, fans have showcased enthusiasm hearing Jin's plans and the group's reunion. One fan on X tweeted:

“Oh THAT group comeback gonna be huge.”

Fans echoed similar sentiments and discussed the group's comeback.

“The next chapter being 2025 group comeback and that line of my priority is army not crying at all,” another fan wrote.
“Always said they should take a break before everything in 2025 I’m happy for him,” a user on X said.

Fans were delighted to hear that the BTS vocalist will take a break from his busy schedule. Notably, Jin has been actively releasing variety show content since his military discharge in June, followed by his album promotions.

“I am glad he is going to take a break. He deserves it because he worked nonstop from before his enlistement to now. Please enjoy your video games, good food, family, friends…” a fan stated.
“You deserve it Jin, enjoy your time with your loved ones, friends and family who are precious to you,” another fan stated.
“And he totally deserves it. King has been working his ass off since he was released from the military just for us to be happy, but nothing would make us happier than seeing him healthy and well-rested,” another X user reacted.

BTS’ Jin's reported Korean liquor exclusive pop-up event, recent activities, and more

BTS’ Jin and South Korean chef Baek Jong-won have reportedly joined forces to establish a Korean traditional liquor named IGIN, as per News1. According to GS25, a well-known convenience store chain, a pop-up event named ‘SMILE LIFE TOWN POP-UP STORE’ is scheduled to be held in Seoul to give an exclusive experience of trying IGIN.

As per the social media update from GS25 on December 12, the pop-up store event will take place from December 20 to 24, 2024, in Seongdong-gu between 1 pm KST and 8 pm KST. Notably, BIGHIT MUSIC could not confirm whether Jin was involved in establishing the liquor business, stating:

“We ask for your understanding that it is difficult to confirm."

In other news, BTS' Jin dropped episode 13 of his solo variety show RUN JIN, featuring child celebrity Yoon Tae-ha on BANGTAN TV YouTube on December 10. A day later, BIGHIT MUSIC released the behind-the-scenes video of Happy Special Stage featuring Red Velvet's Wendy.
