BTS’ Jungkook was seen sharing his plans about music on the traveling show Are You Sure?! with Jimin. On Thursday, August 8, Are You Sure?! dropped its first two episodes on Disney+, where the two members traveled together to the US, Japan, and South Korea.
In a particular clip, the BTS maknae was seen sitting in the passenger seat as Jimin drove and discussed his plans of trying on more pre-written songs he received. The show was filmed in 2023, and the recorded conversations are from a year ago.
Jungkook shared that he wanted to explore his highest potential by trying on songs he received and showcasing his best vocals in different genres. He further explained that it is important to share his stories through music, but his biggest goal was to do different songs he was offered.

“It’s still important to me to sing about my own story, but these days I want to see how far I can take a pre-written song with my voice, that's been important to me these days."
He further added,
"I want to let people hear many different kinds of songs with my voice and I want to be acknowledged for singing them well. That's my biggest goal rn.”
BTS’ Jungkook shares his thoughts on incorporating his real-life stories in his solo songs on Are You Sure?!
Disney+ dropped the initial episodes of BTS’ Jungkook and Jimin highly anticipated traveling show titled Are You Sure?! on August 8. The K-pop idols not only explored traveling in foreign countries but also shared anecdotes from their real lives.
As a musician with millions of followers and listeners across the globe, Jungkook shared his goal while making his solo songs. He highlights the significance of adding lyrics inspired by real-life stories to connect with the audience.
However, the Seven singer shared that he likes to follow the flow of life as he finds it difficult to easily be inspired by his surroundings. He also wished to bring the best out of his vocal talents with the songs he was offered by other songwriters.
He said,
“I know it's important to tell my story but I honestly don't have much to tell, I don't really... go about my life with a lot of thoughts in my head, I don't really jot things down, I don't really get inspired by things, I just want to do well in my role of using my talent to express different things because it's the singing itself that I enjoy.”
Jimin and Jungkook's call to other BTS members
While the two BTS vocalists were traveling together, they called their fellow members to check on them. On a call with Suga, Jimin lied that they were in Hannam, South Korea, but Suga immediately realized that they were in America filming Are You Sure?!. They also discussed their schedules and Jungkook’s live performance in the US.
On the other hand, Jungkook briefly Facetimed V aka Kim Taehyung, and found out that he was on a photo shoot. Besides this, the members were seen riding motorcycles, trying American cuisine, and more in the initial episodes of this travel variety show.
Meanwhile, Are You Sure?! episode 3, starring BTS’ Jungkook and Jimin is scheduled to be out on Thursday, August 15, 2024, on Disney+.
