On October 2, 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that for the premiere of BTS' Kim Namjoon's RM: Right People, Wrong Place documentary film, they will be giving out a special gift to attending fans.

The film is set to premiere at the 29th BUSAN International Film Festival (BIFF) on October 7, 2024. It will be released at BIFF's Open Cinema Section at Haeunde-gu Film Archive's outdoor theatre.

Although Namjoon, who is well-known by his stage name RM, won't be present during the movie screening, he decided to gift fans with an exclusive postcard set. The photo set is from his never-seen-before moments while filming the documentary. The news delighted the fanbase and the post immediately went viral on X.

Fans who couldn't make it to the BIFF premiere of the show voiced their eagerness to see the movie in theaters when it's released worldwide. One fan praised the idol after BIGHIT MUSIC posted the preview of the exclusive photocard set, and wrote:

"The most beautiful leader"

The BTS ARMY was stunned to see a picture of shirtless Namjoon swimming in a lake in the exclusive postcard set. Some of the fans noted that the photo was a symbol of the idol's "rebirth" as his solo album Right Place, Wrong Person touched on the themes of shedding off old beliefs and ideas.

"I hope this postcard set will be distributed when it hits movie theatres worldwide too!!! I need the one of Joon looking peaceful in the ocean … for many reasons," one fan wrote on X.
"THE POSTCARD OF NAM IN THE WATER ????? OH COME ON," another fan said.
"Namjoon looks free on this picture. With what we know about RPWP, this picture makes me think of freedom & rebirth. The symbolism of being naked in the water, but also his smile, his eyes closed. He's enjoying a perfect moment of bliss," another fan noted.

Others boasted with pride and congratulated the BTS leader on his upcoming documentary film, which is based on his second solo album and will make its debut at the 2024 BIFF.

"The immense pride and pleasure I feel that RM‘s documentary is being shown at Busan Film Festival!!! This is huge!!!" one fan wrote.
"Right person wrong place here...who else? Oh my, Joon is looking so fine, so free, so serene and genuinely happy here...hope he was able to somehow conserve that feeling," another fan said.
"I wish I could be at the premiere, but I can't wait to see this in theaters," another fan added.

BTS' Namjoon's solo documentary film Right People, Wrong Place captures his personal journey and creative process

BTS' Namjoon aka RM released his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, on May 24, 2024. His forthcoming documentary film captured the unseen moments of the BTS sensation as he created his album.

On September 3, Deadline reported that the documentary encapsulates RM traveling through Seoul, Tokyo, and London as he found inspiration for his songs which touch on the themes of rejection, isolation, rebellion, and rebirth.

The documentary is directed by Lee Seok-jun, who also directed BTS' j-hope's MV for Arson and MORE from his debut solo album, Jack in The Box. The tickets for the documentary film premiere are available on the official website of the BUSAN International Film Festival (BIFF).

Currently, Kim Namjoon of BTS has been serving in the 15th Infantry Division of the Republic of Korea Army (R.O.K.A.) since December 11, 2023. He is set to be discharged in June 2025.
