On Tuesday, July 23, ADOR released an official statement denying the recent accusations of Min Hee-jin obtaining trainees from Source Music for NewJeans' debut.

The statement claimed that the allegations were false and that ADOR will be taking legal action against HYBE and Dispatch for releasing trainee videos and practice room pictures without permission. The statement expressed that HYBE's actions were a breach of contract. ADOR also accused HYBE of patching up and fabricating information by altering Kakaotalk messages.

The statement released by ADOR read,

"The related content is false, and the release of trainee videos without permission has led to complaints from the members and their parents to HYBE. This constitutes a breach of contract. The claims are not true, and we plan to take legal action against HYBE for providing mashed-up personal KakaoTalk messages as sources."

The statement continued,

"We will take measures against HYBE for illegally obtaining and stitching up personal KakaoTalk messages and leaking these sources along with personal images.”

Previously, Dispatch released a series of alleged pieces of evidence that showcased that the five members of NewJeans were originally recruited by Source Music's CEO. The Korean media outlet continued to claim that Min Hee-jin obtained members from Source Music and purposely delayed the members' debut to lead NewJeans herself.

Dispatch accuses ADOR and Min Hee-jin of obtaining trainees from Source Music for NewJeans' debut

On July 23, Dispatch released an article reporting that Min Hee-jin obtained trainees from Source Music to debut NewJeans as her own group. The article said that there were seven trainees under Source Music for the N Team project, which has now turned into NewJeans.

The group has been in preparation since 2018 under Source Music, and Min Hee-jin joined the project in 2019 to take care of the visuals and concept of the group. However, choreography, songs, and management were still under Source Music. Regardless, Bang Si-hyuk allegedly expressed to Min Hee-jin that he wasn't confident about debuting N Team as it was HYBE's first girl group at that time.

Min Hee-jin was reportedly asked to take full control of N Team's branding. However, Source Music faced concerns with Hee-jin's style of planning, as she kept most of her plans as ideas rather than solid goals to work towards. Additionally, Source Music also sensed that N Team's debut was allegedly delayed for reasons they were not sure about.

Since Min Hee-jin was in charge of the branding material for NewJeans or N Team, their debut kept being delayed, and Source Music kept pushing her to reveal the same. On the other hand, Dispatch also claimed that Min Hee-jin was in contact with a Shaman and gained advice on how to carry on with N Team's debut. The media outlet exposed Kakaotalk messages between her and a Shaman.

The ADOR CEO, Min Hee-jin, allegedly took the advice of the Shaman and decided to make N Team her own group. While Source Music and Min Hee-jin worked on N Team's debut together, they had different goals. Source Music wanted to debut their group under the company, while Min Hee-jin wanted to pull the members out of Source Music.

In the end, she allegedly took out five members from the set of seven trainees under Source Music and debuted them under her own agency, ADOR, as NewJeans. However, the agency soon released a statement claiming that these accusations made by Dispatch were false.
