While interacting with fans, he played songs from the BTS star's GOLDEN album, including b-side tracks Too Sad to Dance and Please Don’t Change, mentioning how much he loved both songs.

Jungwon even shared his wish to attend one of the idol's showcases as a fan, but due to ENHYPEN's own comeback activities, he couldn’t attend. Fans were touched by Jungwon's genuine admiration. Reacting to the live session, one fan on X tweeted:

ENHYPEN's Jungwon admires Jungkook on his Weverse live

ENHYPEN’s leader Jungwon has consistently expressed his admiration for BTS’ Jungkook. Fans have seen numerous moments where he showed his respect for the senior artist.

One particularly memorable instance occurred during a Weverse live on July 27, 2024. During the live session, Jungwon revealed that his favorite performance by Jungkook was the iHeart Radio showcase in 2023, where he performed Standing Next to You. He was particularly fond of the “take, take, take off” part, sharing how much he enjoyed that specific moment of the performance.

More recently, during another Weverse live held on September 15, Jungwon couldn’t resist talking about his senior idol. This time, he played two songs from the BTS member's debut solo album GOLDEN, Too Sad to Dance and Please Don’t Change.

Fans were delighted to see Jungwon not only playing the songs but also miming the choreography for Please Don’t Change. His playful engagement with the song’s choreography showed how closely Jungwon connects with the singer's music, even down to learning the dances. Additionally, he shared that he listens to them every day, showing his genuine love for the entire album.

Moreover, Jungwon expressed his wish to attend one of the idol's showcases, but unfortunately, ENHYPEN’s comeback schedule clashed with the showcase dates, stopping him from attending it.

Jungwon's respect for his sunbae dates back to his trainee days on the survival show I-LAND, where ENHYPEN was formed. During the show, there was a special mentoring session where Jungkook personally offered advice and encouragement to the trainees. For Jungwon, this was a deeply meaningful moment, as he was visibly moved by the support from someone he had long admired.

Jungwon later shared that receiving direct feedback from Jungkook was an unforgettable experience. He expressed a strong desire to follow in his senior idol's footsteps, not just in terms of career success but also in developing his own unique style and artistry.
