On Monday, July 22, The Fact Music Awards 2024 announced their first performance lineup and revealed more details regarding the upcoming event. In May 2024, it was first announced that TMA, otherwise known as The Fact Music Awards, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary by bringing a K-pop festival to Japan.
Therefore, the award ceremony is expected to bring an exciting list of performances from several K-pop artists. The Fact Music Awards 2024 is scheduled to take place on two days, September 7 and 8, at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. Some of the performing artists include NewJeans, NCT WISH, KISS OF LIFE, EVVNE, Kep1er, and more.

The Fact Music Awards is an annual award ceremony hosted by The Fact and a K-pop community application, Fan N Star. The ceremony is ideally broadcast across Asia and other countries through Weverse and another Philippines broadcasting network, ABS-CBN.

It was kickstarted in 2019 and is known to recognize and honor remarkable accomplishments in the Asian music industry. The winners of its several categories are chosen through a series of considerations.
The award show gathers objective data on the artist's performance from Gaon, now known as The Circle Chart. Along with a panel of judges, it also incorporates the support level from the artists' fans through their participation scores and voting.
What makes this year's event different is its venue outside of Korea. This is the first time TMA has been scheduled in Japan and it is also held at a commendable venue of Kyocera Dome which holds around 35,000 people.
The grandness is to celebrate their organization, The Fact's tenth anniversary. On the other hand, for this year's event, fans can send in support for their favorite artists through the Fan N Star. The award ceremony also chooses K-pop winners based on the votes they gain through the application, both domestically and internationally.
