BTS' Park Jimin was speculated to have filmed his WHO performance for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at South Korea's alleged haunted building. On July 23, 2024, YouTuber Kovi uploaded his reaction video on the BTS idol's pre-filmed performance for Jimmy Fallon's show. WHO is the title track from the idol's second solo album, MUSE, released on July 19, 2024.

The YouTuber revealed that the building where the filming took place is the old Waikiki Hotel in Chungju, South Korea. Kovi claimed that the building is considered a haunted place and that Jimin's latest video has turned it into a tourist spot.

BTS ARMYs were stunned to learn about it and the clip went viral online. One fan hilariously wrote on X:

"The ghost is so lucky to see Jimin performance here"

Others flooded social media with their hilarious reactions. Some fans emphasized that the BTS idol's lucky number and birthdate are both "13," which lends credence to the YouTuber's claims. For those who are unaware, the number 13 is associated with ghosts and is considered unlucky in several Western cultures.

"Ghost house?! Why am I thinking he is bringing alternative universes into this performance? Going to this abandoned place out of all the locations...especially here i cannot be the only one seeing the alternative universe in this frame right??" one fan wrote on X.
"Jimin truly has the magic to transform any place. From a haunted location to a must-visit tourist spot, his impact is incredible," another fan said.
"Ofc the guy that has 13 as his lucky number would choose a haunted place," one fan remarked.

Fans also joked that the WHO singer-songwriter should have taken BTS' Jungkook with him. This was a reference from one of Jungkook's Weverse livestreams, where he mentioned that he wanted to befriend some ghosts.

"Maybe he made a deal with jungkook to test his ghost detection equipment?" another fan joked.
"I'm sure Jungkook will visit because he want to make ghost friends," one fan added.
"I need 2Seok to visit the location when Hobi gets home omg please I beg lol," another fan joked.

On July 23, 2024 (KST), Jimin made his 2024 television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC, performing WHO. The video was pre-filmed before the BTS idol enlisted in the South Korean military for mandatory service.

The performance video was recorded at a now-closed and abandoned resort swimming pool. The South Korean artist performed and conveyed his feelings of missing someone he had never met. Donning a leather jacket and casual denim, the BTS vocalist sang about searching for his one true love.

WHO is a R&B song reminiscent of 2000s pop music and beats. The song was co-written and produced by the Grammy-winning American musician Jon Bellion.

Additionally, Jimmy Fallon related an incident in his show, in which he revealed listening to the song before it was released. Fallon shared the unseen clip on his show where he could be seen enjoying the music in the recording studio, applauding enthusiastically surrounded by Jimin, Pdogg, Jon Bellion, and Tommy Brown. The Hollywood show host said:

"I actually got a chance to hear it before it was released. It's a true story. I was in the recording studio, working on a secret project. And I see Jimin at the studio and go, 'Dude, what are you doing here?' and he was like, 'What are you doing? I am a recording artist.'"

He continued:

"But he was there with Jon Bellion. We actually have a footage here of me hearing the song for the first time. I heard this song months ago and I've been holding this secret in my soul."

MUSE was released on July 19, 2024, with seven tracks including the lead tune, WHO. The album debuted at No.1 on the UK iTunes Album Chart on July 19 while WHO reached #1 on iTunes Worldwide Song Chart across 112 countries by July 20.
