Lovely Runner is a tvN K-drama series starring Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon. The show premiered in April 2024 and was concluded in May. It was directed by Yoon Jong-ho and Kim Tae-yeop. The story was adapted from the web novel, Tomorrow's Best by Kim Bbang.
The story revolves around Lim Sol, played by Kim Hye-yoon, who's a fan of Ryu Seon-jae, a K-pop star. Lim Sol meets with an accident as a child and Ryu Seon-jae's songs on the radio become her form of comfort and strength. However, things change when Lim Sol suddenly hears the shocking news of Ryu Seon-jae's death by su*cide.
As she deeply falls into sadness at the news, she miraculously finds herself traveling back fifteen years in time. Here she meets Ryu Seon-jae, her 19-year-old schoolmate. With the memories of the future, she aims to prevent his eventual death by changing things from the past.
