On Wednesday, September 18, Stray Kids' interview with Rolling Stone UK was released, where Bang Chan shared a piece of information about his fellow member, I.N. The former stated that the group's maknae (youngest member) is the one who is constantly lurking on STAYs online, and updates the other members on what their fans are up to.
Therefore, all the things happening in the fandom, from memes and discussions, reach the Stray Kids members through I.N. Here's what the idol stated:
“I.N, he’s always monitoring everything that’s going on. He’ll send us the link on the group chat. All these memes and stuff.”
When this piece of information landed on the internet, fans couldn't help but hilariously react and freak out at the same. While users found it funny and adorable that the idol was checking up on and monitoring STAYs' activities on social media platforms, they couldn't help but feel conscious after the recent revelation. Here are a few reactions by the fans on X:
"AYEN IS THE IMPOSTER."
"WE ALL THOUGHT IT WAS CHAN, BUT NO, IT WAS AYEN ALL ALONG!?" stated a fan.
"We’re sooo COOKED that we’ve been served to the stray kids group chat. IN GO AWAY," added another fan.
"So in the end we were scared of the wrong guy," said a netizen on X.
More fans talked about how they didn't expect Stray Kids' I.N. to be the one who was stalking and updating the members on STAYs' activities.
"So we were right to be worried but it wasn't lix and chan?? NO IN NO," commented a fan on X.
"GET OUT JEONGIN YOU DONT WANT TO SEE WHAT I COMMENT ON TIK TOK," added another fan on X.
"This is why chan tells us to touch grass, ayen be spying on us," stated a netizen.
"IN really be airing out our dirty laundry. Have some respect for our house," added an X user.
Stray Kids members sit for a group interview with Rolling Stone UK
Stray Kids, the eight-piece K-pop boy band, is scheduled to make their first cover on Rolling Stone UK. As the issue's release date nears, interviews with the members individually, and as a group, landed on the internet. The group interview, with all the members seated together, was taken by Joseph Kocharian.
During the interview, the members talked about several things, including their relationship with each other, the group's success in the industry so far, their future plans, and their love for STAYs (their fans).
Han talked about how the members have known each other for ten years now, and their relationship with each other has only been growing deeper and stronger.
“Sometimes we have differences of opinions and sometimes we have conflicts, which is totally normal, but at first, I felt like they were my companions as they shared a dream and a goal to work together. Then that relationship turned more into friends that you keep for the rest of your life, and now it’s changing again. It’s almost brotherly. they feel like blood," he commented.
Stray Kids also shared their thoughts on their then-upcoming performance at BST Hyde Park. The Rolling Stone UK interview was held right before they headed to their BST Hyde Park stage, and the members were excited to meet the 60,000 STAYs who attended the event.
