On September 27, Amorepacific Corporation announced Jin as the new face of its beauty and skincare brand LANEIGE, making the BTS member its first male ambassador.
On October 1, 2024, LANEIGE shared a video starring Jin where he showcased the features of Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer. In the video, he introduced himself as Worldwide Handsome Jin, showing how to get JIN-US (genius) cream skin using the brand's two-in-one toner and moisturizer.
Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the singer's visuals in the latest campaign and showed their unwavering support for him. Fans even trended phrases like "THE JINIUS OF CREAM SKIN" on X.
"Our WWH is absolutely adorable. A perfect fit," a fan said.
"ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE I HEARD SEOKJIN INTRODUCING HIMSELF AS WORLDWIDE HANDSOME," a user stated.
Netizens continued to share similar thoughts about Jin's visual in the recent LANEIGE campaign.

LANEIGE's recent campaign featuring BTS’ Jin reportedly tops Olive Young's sales
Recently, LANEIGE unveiled its latest campaign in partnership with BTS’ Jin as its first male global ambassador endorsing the Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer. The campaign featuring the K-pop idol garnered significant attention from fans and netizens online, resulting in the product topping the sales list on Olive Young.
According to Star News’ report on October 2, Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer ranked No. 1 in sales across all genders and age groups including people in their teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, and other senior citizens.
On September 27, LANEIGE shared its vision for its skincare product campaign.
“BTS Jin's healthy confidence and bright energy have had a positive impact on many people around the world, and we judged that this aspect fits our brand values,” the brand said.
The Awake singer also opened up about joining the LANEIGE campaign.
“I'm happy to be working with Laneige for my first beauty model activity. I'll show you a good side of Laneige, which is receiving global love, so please look forward to it,” he said.
In other news, Jin launched the solo variety show Run Jin following his discharge from military service. The recent episode featured popular South Korean comedian and singer Ji Seok-jin.
Ji Seok-jin shares the same name as the BTS member and they are known to be friends. Episode 8, starring the comedian, is titled Find Jin and was released on Tuesday, October 1, on the YouTube channel BANGTAN TV.
