The sponsorship comes as the BTS member nears the end of his military service. In the viral image, J-hope's squad could be seen holding a banner featuring his image and a heartfelt message which read:

The message on the banner further read:

The event, described as an MT (Membership Training or a group getaway), was organized and funded by the K-pop idol as a thank-you to his comrades. J-hope, who enlisted in the military on April 18, 2023, has had an impressive service record. Starting his training at the Army A Division Recruit Training Center in Gangwon Province, he was soon promoted to corporal and platoon leader due to his exceptional skills in marksmanship and first aid.

As his discharge date on October 17, 2024, approaches, J-hope will be the second BTS member to complete military service, following Jin. The remaining BTS members are expected to conclude their service by June 2025.
