BIGBANG's G-Dragon sat down for an interview with Vogue for the February 2025 issue. In the interview, the idol talked about a spectrum of things, from his personal goals for 2025 to sharing past stories during his initial music career stages.
Naturally, he was also asked about his latest releases, POWER, and HOME SWEET HOME. Given that these two releases marked G-Dragon's return to the music industry after a seven-year-long hiatus, the interviewer was curious about the thought process and creation behind the same.
The idol revealed that he prepared the songs a while ago but the announcements were made at random points. Here's what he said:
"A day before POWER was released, I revealed it through a surprise Instagram Live. POWER was revealed on YOU QUIZ ON THE BLOCK on purpose, and I just went abrubtly at midnight. It was a release that is most like me. Should I say that I always look for a new way to surprise people?"
