On July 12, 2024, Stray Kids' Hyunjin went live on Instagram and garnered attention for imitating the character Anxiety from the popular animated movie Inside Out 2. The clip went viral online as fans shared hilarious tweets about seeing the K-pop idol mimic Anxiety's hairstyle and facial expression.

For the uninitiated, Inside Out 2 is from the house of Disney and Pixar and was released globally on June 14, 2024. The popular animated movie sequel focuses on adolescent Riley as she deals with her new high school life and introduces four new emotions: Anxiety, Embarrassment, Ennui (Delusion), and Envy.

Meanwhile, upon seeing the Stray Kids' idol imitating Anxiety, one fan wrote on X:

"the resemblance is so uncanny"

Others shared similar thoughts and found the K-pop idol's actions endearing.

"Girl, I wish my anxiety looked like that," one fan wrote.
"Now this is the anxiety i want. gurl which store can i switch mine out," another fan commented.
"If you think again, Anxiety suits him more than Disgust," another fan added.
"Someone said Hyunjin looked like Anxiety from indie out bc of his hair (?) so he tried to copy it," one fan joked.

Some fans highlighted that his clip went viral online and "broke the internet," while others claimed that Hyunjin's imitation of Anxiety was the "cutest thing."

"Hyunjin's IG live broke the internet again, especially the moment when he tried to copy Anxiety's expression," one fan added.
"THE CUTEST THING I’VE SEEN...also wow my two worlds in one video hyunjin and anxiety," another fan remarked.

The popular K-pop octet released the first music video teaser for their upcoming track, Chk Chk Boom!, on July 13, 2024. The Chk Chk Boom! MV teaser marks the beginning of the group's comeback release next week and features a special appearance by Hollywood movie star Ryan Reynolds.

Earlier, on July 5, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman met Stray Kids' Felix and Bang Chan after the press conference for Deadpool & Wolverine promotions in Seoul. Ryan Reynolds shared pictures with the two K-pop idols on his X account, jokingly trading Hugh Jackman as the newest member of Stray Kids.

During their meeting, the Nice Guy actor mentioned being a fan of the K-pop group and hinted at a collaboration with them. The collaboration was revealed with the Chk Chk Boom! MV teaser.

Stray Kids members Bang Chan, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Lee Know, Changbin, Seungmin, and I.N. are all seen in the cinematic MV teaser, along with a magnetic music background score. The song is the title track from their upcoming album, ATE, which will be released on July 19 at 1 pm KST.

In other news, Stray Kids is set to headline the 2024 Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago at Grant Park on August 2.
