BTS’ Jin's appearance on the Salon Drip 2 is gathering attention for the alleged whitewashed photographs from behind the scenes. On November 5, the highly awaited episode 64 of Salon Drip 2 starring Jin hosted by popular broadcaster Jang Do-yeon was released on the TEO Universe YouTube channel.
The BTS vocalist opened up about the process of making his first solo album, Happy, which has yet to be released, and his experience working solo without his fellow members. The Moon singer spoke about his friendship with renowned chef Paik Jung-won, military experience, and more.
What caught fans’ eyes was the behind-the-scenes images released on the social media pages of TEO Universe. Fans online noticed the photographs were allegedly brighter than the original video released on YouTube. Fans speculated that the photos were whitewashed as Jin and Jang Do-yeon’s skin color appeared to be paler than usual.
Netizens also mentioned the alleged change in the color of Jin's cardigan in the photos. They took to social media to express their thoughts while criticizing the production team of Salon Drip 2 assuming that they whitewashed the images to make the BTS member look fairer.

Netizens alleged that the difference between the color of the wall and BTS' Jin's skin was barely visible.

BTS’ Jin opens up about writing a song for ARMYs included in his upcoming album Happy
On November 5, BTS’ Jin made a guest appearance on Salon Drip 2 ahead of the release of his first solo album Happy. In conversation with Jang Do-yeon, Jin shared his post-military activities and how he wrote a song for his fans ARMYs within a few days. He shared,
“starting from the day after I was discharged, I wrote the lyrics of my fan song. It was my first time writing lyrics for an entire song, but I did it just in a day or two.”
He revealed the name of the song which is I will come to you, the track serves as the outro song on the forthcoming album Happy, according to the Spotify tracklist preview.
“It's called "I Will Come To You." I packed the song with my longing. "I... Will be there soon. I will soon leave this place to get to you, so please wait for me.”That's where it started. 30% of the lyrics are from the ideas I wrote in the military,” he added.
Notably, Happy features six tracks including the title song Running Wild, I'll Be There, Another Level, Falling, Heart on the Window (featuring WENDY), and I will come to you, which will be released on November 15, 2024.
