The Witch follows a woman who has been called a witch and driven out of the village after the men she likes get hurt or die. The story also includes a man who risks his life to save her and solve the mystery of the deaths surrounding her.
Roh Jung-eui is set to portray Mi-jeong, the woman who has chosen to isolate herself from society. Throughout her life, she has been at the center of a series of inexplicable occurrences, including all the men who have expressed romantic interest in her either suffering or meeting untimely deaths.
Mi-jeong is convinced that she is cursed and has chosen to live a secluded existence. However, despite her self-imposed confinement, she harbors a deep desire to venture out into the world beyond her current circumstances.
Park Jin-young portrays the character of Dong-jin, a highly successful data miner in the industry. In an effort to prove that the woman he loves, Mi-jeong, is not a witch, he joins the Department of Statistics.
After a chance encounter with Mi-jeong 10 years later, he embarks on a perilous journey to uncover the mystery behind the misfortunes that seem to surround her, with the hope of bringing her out into the world.
Kang Full, the writer of the webtoon The Witch, is also known for their remarkable work as the writer of Moving, Lighting Store, and Fool.

South Korean singer, actor, and songwriter Park Jin-young, aka Jinyoung, is a member of the boy band GOT7 and boy band duo JJ Project.
He made his acting debut in the drama Dream High 2 (2012). He has appeared in K-dramas such as Legend of Blue Sea (2016), He Is Psychometric (2019), The Devil Judge (2021), Yumi's Cell (2021-22), and most recently, Reborn Rich (2022).
