On Sunday, September 8, media outlet Star News Korea reported that BTS' Jin’s latest cover for Harper’s BAZAAR Korea became the most-liked post on the magazine’s official Instagram page. Most recently, Kim Seok-jin, aka Jin, was on the magazine's covers for the September 2024 issue.

The magazine’s Instagram account posted multiple previews of these covers, and the one shared on August 13 became the post with the most likes. With more than 810,000 likes as of September 8, the mentioned Instagram post made a new record.

This record-breaking news had fans in a frenzy, as they took to social media to express their admiration for the K-pop idol. One of them wrote on X,

“Thee kim seokjin power”

Many other responses from Jin’s fans and other X users applauded and congratulated the idol.

“The power of king Seokjin”- A fan wrote.
“Understandable! Kim Seokjin is so fine”- Another fan stated.
“Of course! Cuz it's JIN”- remarked an X user.

One X user called Jin’s magazine covers the "best BAZAAR covers ever."

“The best Bazaar covers ever”- A fan stated.
“OMG KING!! CONGRATULATIONS JIN”- commented a fan on X.
“I letterally went to insta and liked the post”- wrote another fan.

Harper’s BAZAAR Korea shared an interview with BTS' Jin on YouTube

On August 9, Harper’s BAZAAR Korea shared the first teaser images of BTS’ Jin’s September covers. Following the initial teasers, the magazine released numerous clips and images of the K-pop star on different dates.

The magazine also released a YouTube video of BTS' Jin on August 26. As of this writing, the YouTube video has garnered over 811k views. As part of its cover story, Harper’s BAZAAR interviewed the Epiphany vocalist and asked him many interesting questions, including his memorable moments with his group and what he wishes to do for his content.

In the interview, when asked what he would like to try with his creative endeavors, Jin said,

“Spend 1 billion Won in an hour? It's actually something that's hard to do isn't it? And then.. hm, Boxing with Tyson-ssi. But I feel like it would be dangerous even if that person only used a finger.” he added, "Also I like something that is out of the box so a competition of who can jump the furthest with a flea. I like things that requires physical activity.”

BTS' Jin has been setting more records besides the one stated earlier. On August 7, Jin officially became the global ambassador for Italian luxury fashion house Gucci. This news came from the fashion brand in a special post for the idol, which got over 112,000 likes on Gucci's official X account, making it the most liked post on Gucci’s X account.

This was previously held by Harry Styles' post with 111,000 likes. Subsequent to Gucci's announcement of BTS' Jin's appointment, the official Gucci Japan website crashed due to an overwhelming influx of fans.

Furthermore, the September issue of Harper's BAZAAR Korea, featuring Jin as the cover star, rapidly secured the top three positions on the bestseller lists of major online booksellers Aladdin and Yes24 upon the commencement of pre-orders. After initiating pre-orders, the issue also took the top spot on the bestseller list for the Japanese e-commerce platform Rakuten.


Since completing his military service in June 2024, BTS' Jin has been busy. He was one of the torch bearers at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He appeared on the variety show Half-Star Hotel In Lost Island. The idol also hosts the variety program Run Jin on his group's official YouTube channel.
