"There's a story in your eyes"— Go Min-si comments on Song Kang's acting and his character Cha Hyun-su during the 'Sweet Home 3' press conference

On Wednesday, July 17, the cast and crew of Sweet Home 3 organized a press conference to commemorate the latest season's release on July 19. During the same, Go Min-si, the female lead of Sweet Home, shared her thoughts on the character Cha Hyun-su, played by Song Kang. The show, more or less, revolves around the growth, development, and unique qualities of Hyun-su, unlike the other characters in Sweet Home.

The actress commented on how Hyun-su's story unfolded in Sweet Home 3 and how Song Kang expressed the character.

"Hyunsu has become much more mature. I think he'll be able to show a more upgraded side of himself. I actually told Song Kang on set, 'There's a story in your eyes.' There was a time when I felt a certain sadness in those very pure & clear eyes, and as a friend, I felt sorry for that, but as a colleague, I thought You've become cooler. I think that part will resonate well with viewers."

Producer and director Lee Eung-bok also spoke about Song Kang's character, Hyun-su.

"Hyunsu (Song Kang) lived with kindness. The core of his heart is consumed by his desires, turning it black. He takes indiscriminate actions, but Eunyu (Go Min-si) catches him. There is a point (in the show) like that."
