On Friday, October 4, the official social media page of HYBE Entertainment released the teaser of Dalmajung BTS X MU:DS collaboration. The K-pop group’s management agency, HYBE, has partnered with the National Museum Cultural Foundation (NMCF) to launch the latest merchandise for BTS fans.
The third edition of Dalmajung BTS merchandise will be released in collaboration with the popular National Museum product brand 'MU:DS.' The previous two editions of Dalmajung BTS products were released in 2021 and 2022.
The latest HYBE announcement excited BTS fans for the new merch collection. Therefore, they flooded the internet with praise for the art pieces. One user on X commented:
“I'M LOSING IT THESE ARE SO BEAUTIFUL”
Many other responses from BTS fans were recorded on the internet. While one wrote that the Dalmajung BTS series was their favorite merchandise, another praised the K-pop group for their cultural appreciation.
“Dalmajung is my favorite merch line ever… I want all of these items… I’m so excited for this…”- a fan wrote.
“These are just beautiful… Wow you really want all my money, huh?!”- commented another fan.
“See, this is also what I mean when I said @BTS_twt are unique ! Merch collaboration with the National Museum Foundation of Korea - who else have this kind and level of culture appreciation thus influence, with a fandom that embraces similar value ?”- an X user remarked.
Other fans stated that the latest Dalmajung BTS X MU:DS collaboration was "Namjoon coded." BTS' leader RM, aka Namjoon, is an art aficionado and has reportedly donated 100 million KRW to Korea’s National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in 2020.
“Since the group is leading by a certified art aficionado this collab is really precious. The one who made headlines with his love for arts, a 100 million Korean won domination to South Korea’s National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and frequently shares photos of himself”- expressed another fan.
“Thank you for making very practical and relevant merch like an incense stick holder that can be used to chase away evil magic. ARMY, you know what to do.”- wrote another user on X.
“I absolutely NEED this! It's so perfectly Namjoon coded and gorgeous—captures his vibe completely”- stated a fan.
“okay my grandchildren will definitely inherit these from me”- remarked an X user.
HYBE’s third series of Dalmajung BTS X MU:DS collaboration offers 14 products
The third merchandise collection, 2024 Dalmajung BTS X MU:DS, reportedly includes 14 products with designs inspired by six national treasures owned by the National Museum of Korea.
