"They got such siblings energy"— Fans amused as Ji Chang-wook and Lim Ji-yeon hilariously banter on Salty Brother Shin Dong-yeop

The cast of Revolver—Ji Chang-wook, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Jong-soo, and Kim Jun-han—were invited for the new episode of Salty Brother Shin Dong-yeop (짠한형 신동엽) aka Zzanbro. Episode 54 of the famous YouTube drinking show starring comedian and TV show host Shin Dong-yeop was released on Monday, August 12 at 6 p.m. KST.

The title roughly translates to 'EP. 54: A time of explosive self-esteem and honest appearance evaluations. Caution: Fans may be shocked.' The segment itself showed the hosts enjoying a hilarious heart-to-heart with the actors over drinks and a table full of food. Watching the episode, what amused fans was the bond shared by Ji Chang-wook and Lim Ji-yeon.

The duo was constantly seen harmlessly poking fun at one another. True to the episode's title, the two got into a humorous discussion about complimenting one another on their looks.

In the program, Ji Chang-wook disclosed that the Lies Hidden in My Garden actor tends to compliment him on his looks and then waits for him to give her back a compliment.

The cast and crew of the YouTube show and the Revolver team could not hold back their laughter upon this revelation. At the same time, fans who were equally entertained by this back-and-forth noted how the dynamic between the Suspicious Partner actor and Lim Ji-yeon was lighthearted and friendly.

Several clips went viral among fans from the latest segment of Salty Brother Shin Dong-yeop, most of them featuring Ji Chang-wook and Lim Ji-yeon's playful remarks and exchanges. One instance going viral is of the latter stating that she often asks people if she is pretty. That prompted an instant hilarious reply from Ji Chang-wook, saying,

"Come on, stop it! I'm annoyed now. Do it in moderation! How long will it go on like this?"

After which Lim Ji-yeon asked once more between fits of laughter if she was pretty, to which the 37-year-old responded with a "Yes, you're pretty." The comically aggressive response prompted much laughter around the set.

When this line of conversation became a running gag in the show, Lim Ji-yeon asked how Ji Chang-wook felt being this handsome, and the latter stated she must be tired of asking the same question herself.

Shin Dong-yeop too seemed to appreciate their bond, as he stated,

In the course of the episode, the team even started playing a game where the K-drama actor might not know much about the person, but according to Shin Dong-yeop, Lim Ji-yeon seemed to know who was being talked about. This led to Ji Chang-wook taking the name of actor Lee Do-hyun and Lim Ji-yeon mock bursting into anger, amidst cheers and laughter.

For those unversed, Lim Ji-yeon is presently in a relationship with Lee Do-hyun. They shared the screen in the popular K-drama The Glory (2022-2023). As Lim Ji-yeon rose from her chair to hilariously corner Ji Chang-wook, the latter stated,

"This is why I always tie my shoelaces tightly."

The episode's second MC instantly responded with,

"Oh, are you trying to run away?"

Yet another moment showcases the team talking about Ji Chang-wook's character kissing rapper-actor BIBI's character for the drama The Worst of Evil (2023). When it was revealed that this was the latter's first time doing so on-screen, Lim Ji-yeon wanted to know BIBI's reaction to the scene.

Ji Chang-wook explained that it is a bit more complicated than that, as it makes him nervous when such scenes come up. He further said it was simply work to him, just like made-up action scenes on camera where people act during fighting. When Lim Ji-yeon asked once more how BIBI felt about it, he humorously responded,

"How should I know? Should I go and ask, Hyeong-so (BIBI), did you like it?"

While everyone on set laughed heartily, The Glory's actor casually said,

"You should ask."

Meanwhile, another clip that amused fans was when Lim Ji-yeon mistakenly thought she did a scene with Ji Chang-wook and began describing it. The actor wondered what scene she was referring to, as she eventually realized that there were no such scenes with him.

Meanwhile, in the K-drama Revolver, Ji Chang-wook plays the role of Andy, who makes former police officer Ha Soo-young (Jeon Do-yeon) take his place to serve time in prison for corruption charges.

She is promised money for the same, but when Soo-young leaves prison, she is devastated to find everyone has left her side, leading her to go hunting for the promised sum of money. Lim Ji-yeon's character Jung Yoon-sun helps Ha Soo-young in her journey.
