More about BTS' Jin's previous and upcoming solo ventures

After being discharged from the military on June 12, 2024, BTS' eldest member wasted no time reconnecting with his fans. The day after his discharge, he held a fan meeting to celebrate the group's 11th debut anniversary.

Since then, he's been busy with a packed schedule, focusing on creating new content as the only member currently out of the military.

The BTS star also made headlines as a torchbearer in the 2024 Paris Olympics, capturing global attention with his appearance. In addition to these activities, the K-pop star has taken on roles as a global ambassador for two prestigious brands: the French jewelry brand FRED and the luxury Italian fashion house Gucci. Fans are also eagerly awaiting his feature in the September issue of Harper's BAZAAR Korea X Gucci.

The Epiphany singer is also said to be living up to his reputation as the 'King of Variety Shows.' He recently released the first episode of RUN JIN, a solo spin-off of the group's popular variety show RUN BTS, leaving fans excited for more episodes as hinted at the end of the premiere.

Amidst all this, the most eagerly awaited project is the singer-songwriter's solo album. While there's no official release date yet, the idol has confirmed that he's actively preparing for it.

Fans can also look forward to seeing Jin on the MBC show '푹 쉬면 다행이야' (Half-star Hotel in Lost Island), which is set to premiere on August 19 at 9 p.m. KST.
