On Sunday, August 25, South Korean singer PSY expressed his support for BTS’ Suga during his Summer Swag 2024 concert. Before performing his song ‘That That,’ the singer thanked Suga for making this song with him.

The track belongs to PSY’s eighth studio album, ‘PSY 9th’ and was released in collaboration with Suga in 2022. During his concert, PSY sent love to Suga, saying:

"I am grateful to #Suga for creating and singing this song with me."

The comment from the singer was met with excitement from both audiences and internet fans, especially considering the pending DUI case involving Suga.

On August 6, BTS’ rapper was reportedly observed riding a motorized vehicle to his residence in Hanam-dong while intoxicated. Ever since this incident, the Daechwita vocalist has been in the news constantly as the investigation continues.

Therefore, PSY’s support for the BTS singer excited the latter’s fans and they flooded the internet with appreciation for the Gangnam Style sensation. One of them wrote:

“This just made me burst into sobs. They all feel it. They know whats going on.”

BTS' rapper, who is now fulfilling his military duties, attracted headlines for driving home after socializing with friends while intoxicated on August 6. On August 7, the artist released a formal apology for violating road traffic regulations while serving in the military.

According to the idol's statement, he stumbled while making a turn. Subsequently, three police officers arrived to assist him after detecting an odor of alcohol in his breath. They imposed a fine and revoked his license.

Initially, the singer's BigHit agency said that he was utilizing an electric kickboard instead of an electric scooter, but subsequently, the police categorized it as a motorized vehicle.

Most recently, on August 23, the Give It To Me maker was summoned by the authorities for questioning at Yongsan police station. On August 25, he then released a handwritten apology to his fans on Weverse, apologizing for causing all this controversy.

Additionally, he stated in his letter that he will assist the authorities in their probe into the matter.
