On Wednesday, September 11, Indian BTS ARMYs extended their support for SUGA by sending support trucks for the K-pop idol. These trucks were sent to BTS’ agency HYBE Entertainment’s office in South Korea.

The support trucks prominently displayed the popular catchphrase 'BTS is 7' in several Indian languages. The ARMYs dispatched these vehicles to demonstrate their support for the BTS artist throughout the ongoing DUI scenario.

The expression 'BTS is 7' stresses that the boy band comprises seven members, each of whom is essential to the ensemble. This slogan gained popularity following the emergence of reports of SUGA's removal from the group due to his recent driving under the influence (DUI) incident.

This initiative of support by Indian BTS ARMYs garnered significant praise from the group's global fanbase. One of them wrote,

“This is beautiful.”

Many other responses from online users and fans were recorded on the internet.

“I feel like crying!!! Omgggg,” an X user stated.
“That's the power of Indian ARMY. My biggest Thanks to all the armies and to BTS..... Love ya'll,” another BTS fan wrote
“I'm crying. Thank you all who is behind for this,” remarked another SUGA supporter.

While some Indian fans were moved to tears by the Indian ARMYs' act of support, others were pleased to see their languages represented on the trucks.

“My mother tongue was there too. Love you Indian Army,” a fan wrote.
“INDIAN ARMYS, DID YOU SEE?? BTS IS 7 IN OUR OWN LANGUAGES,” a supporter said.
“I'M SOO HAPPY SEEING TRUCK SENT BY INDIAN ARMY'S &THIS IS SO PRECIOUS THIS IS WHAT I LOVE IN THIS FANDOM. Thank you @jjksyoongs and whoever are part of this,” a fan commented.
“Indian Army sent truck in support of Min Yoongi. Well done Indian Army. Look in various languages "BTS IS SEVEN" is written,” an X user stated.

BTS’ SUGA was embroiled in a DUI incident on August 6

BTS' rapper SUGA garnered news coverage for driving an electric scooter while under the influence after partying with his pals on August 6. The incident took place in the Hannam neighborhood of Yongsan district.

On August 7, the artist issued an official public apology for contravening road traffic rules during his military service. The idol stated that he faltered while making a turn. In the meantime, three police officers showed up to aid him after perceiving a whiff of alcohol in his breath. They then levied a penalty and canceled his license.

At first, the singer's BigHit agency stated that he was using an electric kickboard rather than an electric scooter, however, the authorities later classified it as a motor vehicle.

On August 23, the First Love vocalist underwent a three-hour interrogation at Yongsan Police Station. Suga then went on to acknowledge his mistake and apologize to his admirers.

Recently, SUGA has apparently been acquitted by prosecutors with a monetary penalty in his drunk driving case, one month following the occurrence. On September 10, Korea JoongAng Daily reported that SUGA received a summary order.

The prosecution concluded the matter with the requisite penalties without initiating a trial. The penalty amount has not been disclosed.
