"This is cinema": Fans react to NCT Jaehyun's 'Smoke' track from debut solo album, 'J'

NCT Jaehyun released his debut studio album, J, on August 26, 2024. The title track, Smoke, released on the same day, has amassed great attention from fans across the globe. The singer previously released Forever Only (2022) and Horizon (2023) as part of the NCT Lab music archival project. These tracks generated a lot of buzz and anticipation for Jaehyun's solo album.

The album's title track, Smoke, is a Hip-Hop R&B track featuring a rhythmic bassline and groovy vocals. The music video for Smoke is about narcissism and revolves around the singer loving himself to the point of hurting himself. The music video unfolds like a noir film, with the singer acting and performing in various locations.

Born on February 14, 1997, Jeong Jae-hyun is a member of the K-pop group NCT (Neo Culture Technology). He debuted in April 2016 as a member of the rotational unit called NCT U, following his introduction in December 2013 as a member of SMRookies, a trainee group under his agency, SM Entertainment.
