On November 15, 2024, BTS' Jin dropped the Running Wild TikTok dance challenge with his bandmate j-hope. The song is the lead single from Jin's debut solo album, Happy, released on the same day.
In the dance reel, both BTS members were seen standing at one place and mimicking to run at a slow pace. They film the reel in several places like the elevator inside HYBE, the dance rehearsal room, and more. Fans noticed that the duo also did the same by carrying two magazines in their hands.
Eagle-eyed BTS ARMYs noticed that j-hope was holding a Vogue magazine featuring BTS' Jungkook on the cover while Jin held another magazine with Taehyung's picture.
The clip went viral online as the BTS fanbase found it "endearing" to see the group members never failing to mention their bandmates in everything they do. One fan wrote on X:
"stop this is so endearing to me"
Fans flooded social media, mentioning how this was the "closest" they could get to Jungkook and Taehyung doing the Running Wild dance challenge.
"The closest to we getting the taekook running wild challenge," one fan wrote.
"Feels like hearing bts song in the middle of a drama, except this isn't a media crossover and more of a they're bandmates of 10 years," another fan said.
"WE GOT TAEKOOKSEOKSEOK RUNNING WILD CHALLENGE. ITS A WIN." another fan added.
Others stressed how, in the next seven months, the entire BTS would be together since five members, Namjoon, SUGA, Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung, currently serve in the military.
"This is the closest to what we can get for a taekook and a 2seok subunit," a fan wrote.
"Now its 4 tannies. Its the closest we may get for another 7 months," another fan said.
"Thats their Baby 2 & Baby 3!" one other fan remarked.
BTS' Jin's Running Wild gains over 1.4 million views on YouTube upon its release
On November 15, 2024, Jin released the official music video of Running Wild. The album's opening song is a tribute to enjoying life to the fullest, even if it means that the world will end the next day.
The song explains BTS' Jin's motto, which is to maintain peace even when everything else seems to be crumbling. The adventurous tone of the song is reflected in the music video, which celebrates present-moment living.
In the video, the BTS idol is seen rushing about, looking for happiness with his beloved dog. But it appears to be their last day on Earth due to a meteorite onslaught. While explosions and fire clouds are in the sky, he takes a long trip to the beach, enjoys himself, and eats dinner with his pet.
BTS' Kim Seokjin's debut solo record, Happy, is available on all global streaming platforms.
