On July 15, 2024, a new development emerged in the ongoing dispute between ADOR and its parent company HYBE. According to a report from South Korean media outlet Xports News, NewJeans was offered a 'prime spot' at the exhibit, but ADOR, the group's label, rejected the offer.

Reportedly, ADOR stated that NewJeans would have a small spot in 'HYBE: We Believe In Music', a collaborative venture between Grammy and HYBE. This led to NewJeans' absence from the list of artists announced by HYBE X Grammy for the upcoming exhibit in downtown Los Angeles, causing widespread outrage online.

The internal discord between HYBE and ADOR first came to light on April 22, 2024, following reports that HYBE had launched an investigation into ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin.

As the public grows tired of the continuous allegations from both parties, there is a strong demand for a clear and final resolution. A user on X wrote,

The report sparked differing opinions among netizens. Some online users sympathized with NewJeans, suggesting that HYBE is sabotaging the girl group.

Although it was reported that HYBE conveyed the organizer's intentions to ADOR, many fans believe that HYBE allegedly provided ADOR with vague and incomplete information regarding the Grammy Museum's offer to the girl group, which led to ADOR rejecting participation in the exhibition.

"this hurts my heart…"- one user online wrote

"This is disappointing but not surprising this company loves to lie. It’s simply embarrassing to continue to steal opportunities away from a group under your own company just because you don’t like the CEO…"- another fan commented.
"Do people still believe that HYBE is prioritizing the artist first? The way they sabotaged NewJeans makes it very clear that it was never the case."- a user criticised HYBE.

However, there is another side of the internet demanding a statement from ADOR and Min Hee-jin, alleging that they likely sought a larger spot in the exhibition than established groups like BTS.

"Regardless of what people think of the Grammys, it's undeniable that it's a powerful music entity in the US. Being on its bad side is strategically flawed. I'll only accept this if Ador explains its side."- an X user commented.

"MHJ entire issue is that HYBE doesn't put bts in the basement the way SM used to do with older groups. It's all jealousy."- a user wrote.
"yeah f*** hybe but also f*** MHJ, cause even if it was a “small portion” you don’t miss the opportunity to display your rookie gg on the f***ing GRAMMY MUSEUM. ador has been terrible with marketing and they should be called out for that as well"- another internet user wrote.
