On August 5, BOYNEXTDOOR made waves at the 2024 Idol Sports Athletics Championships (ISAC). Not only did the rookie boy group from KOZ Entertainment (under HYBE) arrive 6 hours later to the event, but their performance in archery left their fans in splits.
Fans shared tweets on X about the group's activities. BOYNEXTDOOR was reportedly busy posting and replying on the fan community platform Weverse, that they ended up arriving late at the ISAC annual celebration.

News of the group's shenanigans went viral online as several fans shared clips from the 2024 ISAC event, showing BOYNEXTDOOR's late entry, posing for the cameras, failing at the archery competition, getting awestruck by a robot camera, and more.
"This is the most unserious group I’ve ever seen," one fan joked.
"Thank god leehan and woonhak weren’t there or it will be a REAL chaos," another fan wrote.
"These boys did not care a bit about this event," one other fan commented.
Others joked about how the boy group cheered for other participating K-pop groups since they were losing in every sport.
"My whole tl today has been bnd first being late to isac then failing miserable at their events and just cheering other teams on at that point I love losers," one fan added.
"Everything that happened today doesn’t feel real but also this is very BND core," one other fan joked.

On August 5, 2024, BOYNEXTDOOR blew up Weverse with multiple post notifications, sending their fans into an online frenzy. However, despite their activities at the 2024 ISAC, the boy group earned praise for preparing a thoughtful lunch for their fans who attended the event.
They offered their attending fans (One-Door) yogurt ice creams from which fans could choose among flavors curated by each of the six members. They also gave water bottles, chicken salad, donuts, and a sandwich.
Fans were impressed when the boy group provided them with toiletry sets and cosmetics since the fans would stay at the arena for long hours.
The rookie boy band debuted in 2023 and has six members: Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, Sungho, Riwoo, and Woonhak. Their debut single album, Who!, debuted at number 162 on the Billboard 200.
On July 10, 2024, the group released their first Japanese album, And, which contains re-recordings of their old songs.
In other news, BOYNEXTDOOR and HYBE's other artist groups such as BTS, Tomorrow X Together, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, ILLIT, and KATSEYE, among others, will be featured in a K-pop display at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. The K-pop exhibition will continue from August 2 to September 15, 2024.
