On September 14, a few netizens made an X post allegedly directing colorist comments toward BTS' Taehyung following the recent updates from the idol's military service. Recently, a picture of the idol at his military camp landed on the internet, where he seemed tanned than usual. Netizens understood that it might've been due to his training where he's constantly exposed to the sun.
However, when certain netizens began to make alleged jokes and colorist comments about Taehyung's skin tone, fans soon came to his defense. They pointed out that it was not right to make comments on someone's skin tone. They also shared that their actions were disrespectful and unwelcome. BTS Taehyung's solo activities, updates, military service, and more
BTS' Taehyung, popularly known as V, is a vocalist in the K-pop boy group that debuted in 2013 under BigHit Entertainment, which is now known as HYBE Labels. While the idol has been a prime member of the boy group, he has also established a simultaneous solo career.
He has released several tracks through BTS albums such as Inner Child, Singularity, etc. Additionally, the idol has rolled out independent tracks through SoundCloud like Winter Bear, Snow Flower feat. Peakboy, and more. However, it was in September 2023 that the K-pop idol officially embarked on his solo career.
