"THIS IS HUGE" — Fans react to BTS' Jin's LANEIGE global ambassador hint post dominating 13 Instagram accounts involving 31 countries

On September 24, 2024, LANEIGE hinted at BTS' Kim Seok-jin as their newest global ambassador by posting a back shot of the idol on their social media accounts. The BTS fandom got very excited as the post went viral online. Furthermore, once the brand's official announcement comes through, he will make history as the first male ambassador for the beauty brand.

Although LANEIGE hasn't officially announced the BTS idol as their global ambassador, however, they posted several shots of his back, lips, and hands, to clearly allude to his identity. Furthermore, LANEIGE has been running the campaign via its 13 Instagram channels across 31 countries including South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, India, and Europe.

Fans were ecstatic as the Grammy-nominated musician made history for being the first male ambassador for LANEIGE and they celebrated online by flooding X with tweets.

The BTS ARMY got busy pulling up LANEIGE's history, discussing among themselves the significance of the BTS idol being the only male face for a beauty brand that has primarily focused on female celebrities for decades.

"Yes...making him GLOBAL AMBASSADOR is different from just an AMBASSADOR..remember how Ottogi said BH won't let them let Jin's ad be shown outside of SK?now companies are making him GLOBAL so he can promote their products outside of SK. Wait till ottogi will make him global BA too," wrote one fan.

LANEIGE shares snippets of BTS' Jin's face, hailing him as "Beautiful as the Moon"

On September 25, 2024, LANEIGE posted another closeup shot of Jin's lips and hands and captioned it as,

"If you could tell who someone was just by their hands, it would be puchohenza. Beautiful as the Moon"

The BTS idol previously released a song, Moon, on February 21, 2020, which is from the band's album, MAP OF THE SOUL: 7. Since then, the idol has been given the nickname "Moon" by his fandom.
