On September 29, 2024, BLACKPINK's Jennie dropped the official teaser of her upcoming song, Pretty Girl Mantra, on Instagram. Ahead of her scheduled October solo album release, the K-pop sensation delighted fans with a creative teaser highlighting a "mantra" where pretty girls are ambitious, practice self-love, don't dwell in dramas, and care for themselves.
The teaser displayed a retro theme as the K-pop idol changed into three different attires and hairstyles. In one she dressed in a chic cowboy-themed outfit with shorts and knee-high boots, while in the second fit, she sported bangs and wore a black bralette with a white cropped vest. Meanwhile, she sported a pink hairstyle in her third look with a white bodysuit.
Fans praised the BLACKPINK idol for her creativity and concept. The song will be released under her company, ODDATELIER, and in partnership with Columbia Records. One fan wrote on X:

BLACKPINK's Jennie confirms to release her debut solo album in October 2024
On September 8, 2024, Columbia Records and ODDATELIER signed a partnership deal for Jennie's international solo endeavor. For the unversed, the K-pop rapper terminated her solo contract with YG Entertainment in December 2023. Following this, she established her company, ODDATELIER, on December 24, 2023, and confirmed her solo activities.
In May 2024, she attended the MET Gala, which was her second appearance after her 2023 MET Gala debut. Later, on June 10, 2024, she made history by debuting on the runway for Jacquemas' 15th anniversary show in Capri, Italy.
Currently, although set to be released in October 2024, Jennie hasn't confirmed the release date of her debut solo album. However, some fans speculated that the album could be released on October 11, on International Girls' Day.
