On September 11, 2024, South Korean media outlet Star&Style Magazine announced that the lead actors, Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min of the ongoing drama Love Next Door will be traveling to Bali for a special couple pictorial shoot.
Scheduled for September 24, the shoot will feature the pair in a fashion magazine spread, almost a week before the drama concludes.
This unusual timing has sparked considerable excitement among fans, as it is uncommon for main cast members to undertake an overseas shoot so close to the end of a drama's run. A user on X, @kdramadaisy wrote:
"This is so random. let them beee."
The news has fueled ongoing speculation about a possible romantic relationship between Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min. Although there has been no official confirmation regarding their relationship status or the details of the pictorial shoot.
"I'm all rooting for you if it's true. I love both of them,"one fan wrote.
"no cause if they actually date like can you IMAGINE the power they’ll hold omg…," another fan said.
"I will support them if ever it is true. They deserved also vacation and thier chemistry is really undeniable," another person mentioned.
"whether this is such their new promotion campaign or if they are actually dating, I'M SEATED," another fan commented.
While some fans are excitedly speculating about a potential romance between Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min, others are dismissing the dating rumors. They argue that pairing lead actors for promotional activities, especially to highlight their on-screen chemistry, has become quite common in the industry.
"one thing about kdrama couples is they WILL catch dating rumours without fail after every single project with every single co star," one person said.
"Why do I feel this is going to be a contingency plan for a possible sad ending," another fan said.
"Everything is for promotion we get it.this random dating news is not shocking," another X user said.
