BTS’ Suga's photo was mosaic processed in the tvN show The Chairman’s People. According to iMBC news, on Monday, August 26, tvN story released a teaser of the 98th episode of The Chairman's People featuring Park Sul-nyeo, a widely popular traditional Korean costume Hanbok designer.

Designer Park Sul-nyeo was seen enjoying her food while taking a look back on her life. There were pictures of celebrities wearing Park Sul-nyeo-designed Hanbok displayed in the background. Netizens were quick to notice the image of the K-pop group BTS. However, they also observed something unusual.

All seven members were visible but only Suga's face in the group photo was censored. According to the media agency, tvN story's production team mosaic-processed Suga and South Korea Trot singer Kim Ho-joong due to their recent DUI cases.

As the two celebrities have caused social controversies, the production team of the show reportedly decided to use mosaic processing as a measure to avoid showing their faces on screen. Suga is currently being investigated for drunk driving. On the other hand, Kim Ho-joong was arrested in a hit-and-run case and was sent on trial.

BTS fans have shared their thoughts on the measures taken by tvN to censor Suga's face on social media platforms like X.

“This is really too much! ! !They mosaic SUGA!” a fan said.
“I hate this media! ! ! TvN coded SUGA!I've had enough,” a user stated.
“If this isn’t bullying idk what is,” a user commented.

Fans also decided to report the incident to BTS’ agency BIGHIT MUSIC.

“Please mail this ARMY I'm begging. These mfers are blurring yoongi's face in ot7 pics,” a fan stated.
“Instead of making a fuss and bringing more attention to this, send an email to BH, please,” a user said.
“Unfortunately I've seen countless karmys saying that this is "normal". that the best thing is not to do anything,” a fan wrote.
