"This separation shouldn't have happened" - Fans react as SM Entertainment officially removes Seunghan's name from RIIZE's group on their website

On October 15, 2024, SM Entertainment updated its website, officially removing Seunghan's name from the list comprising of RIIZE's members. However, the Get A Guitar singer is still part of the company and his name appears separately on the artist list.

Since this move by the company, fans have been protesting against this decision of the company. They are calling out his removal from the group as unfair, unjust, and parochial.

"I really wonder how the group feels. Sorry RIIZE be ready for your downfall. This seperation shouldn't have happened,"

On October 11, 2024, SM Entertainment announced the singer's comeback with RIIZE with the resumption of his activities in November 2024. However, in less than 48 hours, the company retracted the statement, following a backlash from Korean fans of the group.

Seunghan still being listed as a member of RIIZE on SM Entertainment's official website was a driving force for the fans to hope for a redaction of the statement, mentioning the artist's removal.

However, many fans kept their hopes alive despite this news and asked for the continuation of the struggle to bring justice to Seunghan.

While the internet was torn between how to feel about the official removal of Seunghan as a RIIZE member on SM Entertainment's official website, many were expressing luck and support for Seunghan as a soloist as he was still an artist under SM.

Fans also believed that going solo is much more beneficial for the mental health of the 21-year-old singer.

The change on SM Entertainment's website comes after it's production team, Wizard Production (responsible for RIIZE), announced that Seunghan will be leaving the group on October 13, 2024.

Since then, the fans of Talk Saxy's singer have been actively boycotting the group on various social media and streaming platforms. They have also been trending various hashtags demanding the singer back as a member of RIIZE.

They also demand that the company apologize for mishandling the news of his comeback, leaving him open to severe backlash and death threats from Korean fans. The official social media accounts of RIIZE have been losing hundreds of followers since the news of the singer's departure.

The 21-year-old has been on hiatus after his pre-debut photos from his teenage years were leaked. This resulted in the artist receiving extreme backlash from Korean fans, keeping him away from the group's activities for 10 months.
