On January 19, 2025, an X user shared a now-deleted post revealing a controversial poster for SEVENTEEN's Vernon at the Right Here concert held at the Philippines Sports Stadium in Bulacan, Philippines. The poster sparked furious reactions from the K-pop community. The following words were reportedly written on the banner,

"Vernon, are you a pee!? Bcs urine my heart.”

Subsequently, another video of SEVENTEEN's Vernon reacting to the banner went viral among the fandom. In the clip, the idol gave a seemingly confused reaction while observing a fan's banner.

Criticizing the fan for making the idol uncomfortable, an X user wrote,

"I might get canceled for this but I don't care because this is seriously disgusting people like this shouldn't really attend concerts I am not sorry they don't deserve the seat."
"it’s so weird how y’all come on here to say AHHHAA LOOK AT HOW I MADE SVT FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE WHILE THEY WORK AHAAHAHAHAH,"another fan reacted.
"I feel bad for vernon actually because some of you always make a weird and uncomfortable banner just to get his notice wtf. like yeah I understand what the banner means and I believe vernon too but this is weird as f*ck im sorry. free vernon," a fan commented.

Many also noted that people should not defend the OP for their latest activity at the concert. They outrightly cited the banner as something that made them feel "disgusted".

"Saw this yesterday and felt disgusted just like how Vernon felt. I thought I was being too sensitive but it's indeed disgusting. He read all of your banners wholeheartedly but y'all just be doing everything just for his reactions," an X user shared.
"qrts defending op bc vernon is a grown man as if being an adult pushing 30 gives yall the green light to put someone in an uncomfortable situation like let's learn boundaries first of all," an X user reacted.
"free Vernon pls this is so weird…. he doesn’t need that lmao," an X user commented.
