The poster sparked furious reactions from the K-pop community. The following words were reportedly written on the banner,

Subsequently, another video of SEVENTEEN's Vernon reacting to the banner went viral among the fandom. In the clip, the idol gave a seemingly confused reaction while observing a fan's banner.
Criticizing the fan for making the idol uncomfortable, an X user wrote,
