"Three letters ‘NCT’ are everything to me”- NCT's Haechan shares long emotional message for fans amidst Taeil controversy

On Saturday, August 31, NCT's Haechan shared a long emotional message via Lysn Bubble. His long letter to fans came following the latest Taeil controversy that resulted in the expulsion of the member from the group by SM Entertainment.

Recently, on August 28, SM Entertainment officially announced that Taeil would no longer be part of NCT amid the controversy. Moon Taeil is accused of s*xual offence and the details about the matter are currently not revealed. Presently, Taeil's case is being investigated by the police.

Following SM Entertainment's statement, NCT's Haechan publicly unveiled a letter addressed to the K-pop band's enthusiasts and other viewers. In the long letter, NCT's Haechan also underlines the significance of NCT in his life. And requests for the support of the group’s fans. He wrote:

“These three letters NCT are everything to me. It's a name that we must protect together with our members. We will work hard to continue to shine. So everyone, please continue to watch us a lot. Please support us a lot. Please look forward to us a lot. Please love us a lot.”

NCT's Haechan reflects on his career and thanks fans via Lysn Bubble

NCT's Haechan's message was shared through the Korean social networking platform Lysn Bubble on August 31. He commences with a mention of his recent preoccupation with several thoughts.

He expresses his desire to share his thoughts with his fans. Firstly, he states that this year signifies the eighth commemoration of the K-pop boy band. Subsequently, he stated:

“I started this job with a love of singing and dancing, but there are more important things to think about than singing and dancing than I thought... Of course, I'm still learning, but the biggest thing I've learned is always trying not to make mistakes.”

In his lengthy message, NCT's Haechan also expressed his amazement at the unexpected fame that he and his fellow members have achieved. He acknowledged the efforts of his fellow band members. He further wrote:

“There are times when I get this amazing feeling that all of this was possible because I have these members by my side! To some, what we've accomplished may seem like nothing, but we've worked really hard. We've worked so hard releasing albums that I don't even know how many albums we've released over the past 8 years.”

NCT's Haechan went on to say that he is very grateful for the praise his group has gotten. Also, he brought attention to the fact that their schedules are extremely hectic and full of stress. Most of the time, they're mentally and physically drained. He insists nonetheless that he will not stop giving his all to his band.

“However, most of the time, the schedule is not easy mentally and physically. But I'm so thankful to our members who never gave up and always stayed by my side. I really... I'm so grateful... to the point where my heart aches.. I can't do anything half-heartedly. The reason I'm saying this is because of those members. I will continue to work really hard like I have done so far.”

SM Entertainment made a formal statement on August 28, 2024, via a social media post, stating that Moon Taeil, a former member of NCT, was being investigated by the authorities for a s**ual offense and consequently left the group.

On the same day, NCT ZONE issued an official statement declaring a suspension of future operations in light of Moon Taeil's s*xual controversy. They also decided to delete and not upload any content or updates about Taeil in light of the current statement concerning the ex-NCT member. Currently, his case is under police investigation.
