On July 22, 2024, BANGTANTV launched the latest teaser trailer of its upcoming travel variety show called Are You Sure?! starring BTS' Jimin and Jungkook. In the new sneak peek video of the much-anticipated program, some keen ARMYs (BTS fans) noticed a similarity between the trailer and Jimin's new music video for WHO.
In the middle of the video, a slide showcased a snap of Jimin and Jungkook, endearingly known as 'Jikook' among fans, in a snow-covered street. What grabbed ARMYs' attention was a phrase next to the duo's picture saying, "Keep Going".
Fans quickly compared it to Jimin's latest WHO MV, rolled out on July 19, where a scene featured a billboard crashing down, with the same words displayed on the screen. Moreover, the billboard had someone's eyes faintly visible in the background. Fans on X (formerly Twitter) speculated how they resemble member Jungkook's eyes.
Moreover, the latest MMM (Mini & Moni Music) episode, dropped on July 20. Jimin revealed to RM that Jungkook had previously heard parts of Jimin's now-released album MUSE while they were on a "trip." The revelation also led ARMYs to talk about how Jimin and Jungkook discuss music making when they get together.
The similarities lead the fandom to speculate whether a 'Jikook' collaboration is underway. Theories run wild, with some speculating a possible remix of WHO featuring BTS' youngest member is allegedly soon to be released.
While some others are alleging that a team-up for the original soundtrack (OST) for Are You Sure?! has taken place. Echoing the same, a fan wrote on X:
"Travel show OST is coming!!"
Similarly, other fans have also voiced their takes on this cryptic appearance of the words "Keep Going" in the two separate videos. One even refers to the billboard with mysterious eyes from the WHO MV, wondering if it is Jungkook.
"JIKOOK COLLAB ????," one fan said.
"the fact that the phrase “keep going” ONLY shows up during the billboard scene and the jikook scene in the trailer tells me that it ISN’T a coincidence - like Jimin knows exactly what he’s doing!?!??," another person said.
"so those are jungkook’s eyes? oh smth’s definitely dropping my guess is still on the ost or some sort of a show’s tune i mean we saw how much jm and jk talk about music when they are together during MMM exchange so it’s gotta be music right??," one ARMY said.
Meanwhile, Jimin's well-known phrase, "You nice, keep going" from a previous interview with Buzzfeed in 2018, is also being linked to the speculations.
"I saw a reaction video to Who where they said “you nice, keep going” when they saw this bit of the MV and now I can’t think of anything else," one fan said.
"Keep Going will be Bangtan’s comeback album," another person commented.
"And if Who gets a remix with jungkook," another X user wrote.
