On Tuesday, September 3, in the latest RUN JIN episode, the guest South Korean influencer Kwak Tube thanked BTS for increasing the world's awareness of South Korea. In the episode, the K-pop idol and BTS member Jin invited three guests, Kwak Tube, ex-UFC fighter Kim Dong Hyun, and TXT's Yeonjun, to his variety show to play Dumb Charades with a unique twist.
One of the many moments of interaction that surfaced through that episode was the South Korean influencer underlining the effect the K-pop group has on South Korea and how it eased his traveling to other countries. He explained that when he used to travel to other countries before and had to present himself as a South Korean, many people were unaware of the country.
However, because of the growing influence and exposure that BTS' fame has brought to the country, he feels much more welcomed when he travels abroad. Therefore, he thanked both the idol and the members for their work. Here's what Kwak Tube said:
"Traveling was a lot better for me thanks to BTS. Not many knew where Korea was. so people would usually say KOREA? where is that? but when I go abroad, they all know BTS. so they welcome me a lot saying, Korea? It is all thanks to you that traveling has gotten so much easier for me."
To this, Jin hilariously replied that he must be God for making such a great change. Kwak Tube added to his comment by saying that he's more than God and stated that he's a legend.
"No you're more than a god, you're a legend."
