Culinary Class Wars contestants, including Triple Star, Auntie Omakase #1, and others, have witnessed a high surge in reservations at their restaurants, due to the show's popularity in South Korea. According to Sports Chosun's report on October 10, Culinary Class Wars contestants, both the Black Spoon chefs and the White Spoon chefs, have garnered significant widespread attention.
Platforms like Naver and Kakao have made lists of the restaurants owned by the participants, which are taking direct reservations. Due to the chefs' popularity, reservations at these restaurants have increased massively, making it almost impossible for visitors to book a table. Notably, if the visitors are not quick enough to book one, they may be pushed behind for a few months.
According to Naver Data Lab and Catch Table, the chefs’ restaurants witnessed a surge in average reservations - up to 148 percent. Moreover, reservations at some of these restaurants rose by 4937.5 percent.

On October 7, Culinary Class Wars’ top 8 finalists gathered for a press conference, where Chef Scott Kang, or Triple Star, and Auntie Omakase #1, opened up about the increasing number of visitors at their restaurants following the release of the Netflix cooking competition series.
Scott Kang expressed his gratitude towards the fans and visitors, saying,
"I can feel the difference in my store with the increase in reservation inquiries and the many visitors. I am taking certification shots for them. It is hard, but I am living with a grateful heart.”
Further, Auntie Omakase #1 shared about the traditional cuisine facing struggles. She also thanked the young visitors for showing interest in traditional cuisine following her participation in the show. She said,
"The traditional market is in a very serious slump, but I am grateful that many young people are visiting after appearing on this program. I am living with a proud heart because I am helping the traditional market even a little. I am happy.”
Meanwhile, Chef Im Tae-hoon, who appeared on the show under the name 'Self Made Chef,' also shared his experience on a recent radio show, as per Sports Seoul. He said,
“I should have shown more activities, but I couldn’t, but I’m grateful that the guests cheered me on and came to see me. I felt so sorry for making them wait, so I went out and greeted them all.”
