“Truly the MOST ADMIRED ARTIST”: Fans react as ZEROBASEONE’s Hanbin and Matthew cover BTS' Jungkook’s single ‘SNTY’ with Will.i.am 

ZEROBASEONE members Hanbin and Matthew sang BTS' Jungkook’s solo track Standing Next To You (SNTY) in the latest episode of World Star Next Door. On January 14, 2025, World Star Next Door’s new episode was released featuring ZEROBASEONE’s Hanbin and Matthew as the hosts of the show, who welcomed the American musician Will.i.am as the episode's guest.

At the end of this episode, the three singers performed a cover version of BTS' Jungkook’s Standing Next To You, which is a part of his debut solo album, GOLDEN. The BTS’ member’s fans were impressed with ZB1 and Will.i.am’s version of the song.

As a result, Jungkook's fans filled the internet with praise for the cover version, as well as appreciation for Jungkook. To express this, one user on X stated:

BTS' Jungkook’s Standing Next To You was released in November 2023

On November 4, 2024, BTS' Jungkook achieved a historic milestone by attaining 1 billion streams on Spotify for his composition Standing Next To You. Originally released on November 3, 2023, Standing Next To You is the main track of his debut solo album, GOLDEN. This track marked the idol’s third track to accomplish this feat following SEVEN and Left and Right.

On September 27, 2024, Standing Next To You received BRIT-certified Silver status in the UK for exceeding 200,000 unit sales. The BRIT Awards' social media page announced the milestone of Jungkook's track.

At present, BTS' Jungkook is fulfilling his compulsory military service in South Korea, which he joined on December 12, 2023. He is expected to be released on June 10, 2025, to recommence his group and solo endeavors.
