On September 25, 2024, ZEROBASEONE's Gyuvin went live on Plus Chat and shared that BTS' Jin is his mother's "forever one-pick." He recalled his visit to D'ICON LA from D’FESTA, where he clicked a picture alongside the BTS idol's cutout photo frame.
"When I went to D'ICON LA, many asked who I took a picture with, which sunbaenim. It was Jin-sunbaenim. There’s a reason for this. First of all, he’s my mom’s 'forever one-pick.' And, although I say this with a bit of caution, I think he’s in the Top 3 visuals in K-pop. My mom originally had no interest in idols at all but Jin sunbaenim," he said.

ZEROBASEONE debuted on July 10, 2023, under the agency WakeOne, with their debut EP, Youth in the Shade. The EP sold over 2 million copies, setting a sales record for a rookie K-pop group in 2023.
