“Truly remarkable” — Fans laud as BTS’ Jimin's "Who" spends an 8th consecutive week in the top 10 of Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at #8

BTS' Park Jimin earned another accolade as his latest single, WHO, from his second solo album, MUSE, spent an eighth consecutive week on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart on September 17, 2024. The single was placed at No. 8 on the Top 10 while the chart was topped by Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars' latest release, Die With A Smile.

WHO was released along with an official MV on July 19, 2024. The track topped the iTunes Worldwide Song chart in over 100 countries in less than 24 hours of its global release. Simultaneously, MUSE topped over 86 countries on the iTunes Worldwide Album chart on the same day of its release.

On September 17, fans cheered Jimin's latest achievement and took X by storm. One fan wrote,

"Congratulations, Jimin! Your fans all over the globe, love & support you! We are beyond proud of you! Setting new record for a Korean/Kpop soloist while serving your country in the Military Service,not being able to promote and not even posting on socmed, is truly remarkable!"

The BTS ARMY rejoiced and congratulated the idol for releasing a hit in 2024 and hailed the song as a "QUEEN."

"Congratulations Jimin. Keep on thriving and ignoring all the useless noise. Your fans were there to help you with your group in the past and will remain there for you whenever you need us. Your talent, personality and aura are rare and we will cherish you till the end," one fan wrote.
"Need a stable relationship with someone like 'who' has with bb charts," another fan said.
"STABLE QUEEN IS BACK AT IT AGAIN," another fan added.

Others lauded the BTS idol's global impact and stated that WHO has been one of the biggest releases of 2024.

"This masterpiece must have a spot in every award and chart," one fan said.
"Jimin's global impact is undeniable! Holding strong in the Top 10 is impressive. His artistry continues to resonate worldwide!" another fan commented.
"Who is easily one of the biggest releases of the year," another fan added.

Grammy-nominated musician Jimin drops another hit solo album in 2024

MUSE sold over 771,000 copies of each of its editions in its first week of release, landing the album at number two on the South Korean Circle Album Chart. WHO is the main single from the album, which consists of a total of seven tracks.

One of the seven songs, Closer Than This, released on December 22, 2023, as a digital single for his fans. It was later added to the album as a final track.

The album also dropped the pre-release song Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, featuring Loco, on June 28, 2024. It was the first track from MUSE which surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify as of July 21. It became the fastest track by a K-pop soloist to achieve this milestone in 2024.

With MUSE, the BTS idol had his second No. 2 debut on the Billboard 200 chart on August 3, 2024. With 74,000 pure album sales, 15,000 streaming equivalents, and 7,000 track equivalents, the album sold over 96,000 album-equivalent units. WHO also topped the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S. in August 2024.
