Dear X, the upcoming TVING drama has confirmed its cast on August 8, according to Xports news (a Korean publication). Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon, and Lee Yeol-eum will be seen playing the lead characters in the romance thriller. Dear X is an adaptation of a Naver webtoon and will be released in 2025.
Dear X is directed by Lee Eung-bok, known for Sweet Home, Mr. Sunshine, Goblin, and Descendants of the Sun. In addition, director Park So-hyun will be joining him while Choi Ja-won will serve as writer.

Dear X chronicles the collapse of the most popular actress in the country, Baek Ah-jin. While she has an attractive and compassionate nature, she punishes everyone who offends her severely by showing her evil side.

Kim Yoo-jung will play the role of Baek Ah-jin. Top South Korean actress Baek Ah-jin conceals her nasty personality beneath a stunning appearance. She is a character who has risen to the top of her perilous upbringing and acquired layers of wounds. In order to survive, she puts a front.
She is skilled at seeing right through and manipulating other people's emotions. However, as she ascends to the top, everything eventually starts to come apart.

The character Lena, portrayed by Lee Yeol-eum, gets indulged in an unrequited love situation. Lena is an idol-turned-actor who became well-known because of her exceptional looks and good fortune.
Despite being branded as a contentious actor, she maintains a strong mindset. Lena becomes increasingly aware that she is grasping for things that are beyond her reach, the more she loves Yoon Jun-seo.
