On September 16, 2024, Park Jinyoung, widely known as J.Y. Park or JYP, marked his 30th debut anniversary as a singer and a dancer with guest performances by TWICE, 2PM, Rain, and many more.
KBS TV 2 aired the special Chuseok program titled Entertainer JYP Park Jin Young. The 52-year-old singer is also the founder of JYP Entertainment, which has produced popular K-pop artists like TWICE, Wonder Girls, 2PM, and many more.
The 30th debut anniversary special program underlined the contribution of JYP to the South Korean music industry over the past 30 years and showcased 29 different stages. Former and current artists under JYP Entertainment gathered to celebrate the singer's 30 years in the industry.
During the show, J.Y. Park sang the intro of TWICE's hit track FEEL SPECIAL. He also joined the girls in the outro dance of What is Love? Other artists like Soloist Rain and K-pop groups 2PM and Wonder Girls joined him on stage.

According to Newsis, the South Korean singer and Entertainer JYP addressed the audience reminiscing over his rookie days in the 90s. He also said that after 30 years, he felt he had achieved his goals as a singer and an entertainer.
“It's been 30 years since I stood in front of you. From when I was a rookie until now, there's only one thing I've wanted. To dance and sing for a long time, to comfort you, and to give you strength and inspiration. It's been my long-time dream, and I've finally achieved 30 years,” he said.
“I wrote the song so that I wouldn't become lazy after 20 years. I thought that I would be able to call myself a legend after 30 years. I prepared the best performance today so that you can all forget your worries and concerns and have a fun night.”

Highlights
Besides the various performances, many Korean singers and producers shared their respect for J.Y. Park through messages. HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, known for working with JYP in the past, said:
“Jinyoung hyung and I are not in a relationship that can be defined in any specific way; we're just brothers. He said he wanted to spend his whole life making music and standing on stage, so I hope he burns the stage he dreams of and happily steps down from the stage. I want to see him again at a place like this on our 40th anniversary.”
AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk, aespa’s Karina, former Miss A member and actress Bae Suzy, Sung Si-kyung, PSY, and more wished the singer on his debut anniversary.
By the end of the show, J.Y. Park confirmed his upcoming concert in December 2024, promising exciting performances.
