TWICE's Tzuyu announced the release of her debut mini-album abouTZU on September 6, 2024, through JYP Entertainment and will be distributed by Dreamus. The record marked the female artist's first solo album. The agency unveiled an opening trailer for the mini album aboutTZU on August 2.

It should be noted that Tzuyu is the third member of TWICE to make her solo debut after Nayeon and Jihyo. Subsequently, JYP Entertainment has unveiled multiple promotional contents, including teaser images, schedule, concept photos, tracklist, and teaser photos for the upcoming solo album.

TWICE's Tzuyu's mini-album abouTZU features six songs, including Run Away as the title track. The other five tracks are Heartbreak in Heaven (feat. Peniel of BTOB), Lazy Baby (feat. pH-1), Losing Sleep, One Love, and Fly. It would be available in multiple formats, including CD, platform, vinyl, download, and streaming.

The abouTZU physical album will be available for purchase in six versions, such as two photobook versions; Run Away and Fly, a package box version; Heaven, a vinyl version, platform nemo version, and digipack version.

For those unversed, the Taiwanese singer and dancer Tzuyu is also known by the names, Cho Joo-hee, Sally Chou, and Zhou Ziyu. She was born on June 14, 1999, and is currently 25 years old in East District, Tainan, Taiwan.

The female artist is famous among the K-pop fandom as the maknae or the youngest of the girl group TWICE. Meanwhile, she officially debuted with TWICE on October 20, 2015, and released the group's first mini album, The Story Begins. It featured Like Ooh-Ahh as the record's leading title track.

TWICE's Tzuyu has contributed to multiple songs and albums, including Feel Special (2019), TWICE 3 (2020), Celebrate (2022), and other records. She has made an appearance in several music videos, including GOT7's A (2014), GOT7's Stop Stop It (2014), miss A's Only You (2015), and J.Y.Park's Fire (feat. Conan O'Brien, Steven Yeun & Jimin Park in 2016).

She has endorsed multiple luxury brands, including Crocs, Zooc, Gentle Monster, Pond's, Visee, and others. The female artist has also contributed to the Original soundtrack, Two Yoo Project Sugar Man for Daring Woman, in collaboration with Jihyo, Nayeon, and Chaeyeong in 2015.


TWICE featured nine group members, including Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The band was formed through the reality show SIXTEEN and emerged as JYP Entertainment's first girl group in the first half of 2024. Following the release of The Story Begins, the group has released multiple albums.

TWICE is known for hit records, including twicetagram, Eyes Wide Open, Page Two, Yes or Yes, Feel Special, Taste of Love, and others. In recent news, the group has released its 13th mini album, With You-th, featuring One Spark as the title track.
